Business entity consultation and formation: One of the most important decisions as you are forming your business is what legal form the business should adopt (sole proprietorship, partnership, LLC or corporation).
Drafting corporate documents: It is easier to avoid disputes than to litigate them. Partnership Agreements, Operating Agreements and Bylaws function as the internal rules for how the business operates.
EIN: I will assist in obtaining an employer identification number with the IRS.
Formation of non-profit entities: Often called the “third sector of the economy,” not-for-profit, or charitable organizations allow private citizens to supplement the social safety net and serve the community in a variety of areas. Obtaining tax exempt status, under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, allows these organizations to raise much-needed funds by offering their donors a charitable deduction.
Corporate Secretarial Services: For certain entities, I will provide corporate secretarial services including drafting notices, agendas and resolutions for meetings, as well as taking minutes of the meeting. I will also undertake to make certain required filings as dictated under Massachusetts Law.
